FAQ

Adult Podium Questions

How do I sign up?
Use the link www.meetcritique.com/adultpodium26. This will take you to the landing page where you can purchase your $5 athlete fee that gives you access to the Podium.
How do I submit?
Once you are a member of the Podium, you can purchase credits. One credit equals one routine. Follow the submission steps and make sure you submit into the Podium.
What does it cost?
We are offering a 10% discount on purchases for this Podium. Use promocode ADULTGYM10 to save 10% on credits. Single Credits are $19, and prices go down with bundle purchases. Check out our full price list. Note Credits NEVER expire - you can save credits for practice routines in the future.
How long does judging take?
Once submissions close on May 25, our team will get started and aim to finish all submissions within a week. Results will be finalized on May 31. We keep scoring and rankings consistent by having one judge assigned to each event and level, just like in a live competition.
What rules/levels do you follow?
We are open to all adult gymnasts around the world. Because there are many governing bodies, we use a three-tier level system: novice, intermediate, and pro. All routines start from a 10.0, and judging is based on execution.
As a WAG/MAG gymnast can I submit routines on events traditionally for MAG/WAG?
At this time, WAG is open to WAG and MAG is open to MAG. This may change in the future depending on interest.
Can I submit more than one routine per event?
If you really want to, and they are different routines that you want to use for experience competing new skills, then sure. We suggest sticking to one routine per event.
Can I submit a video from a past competition?
Nope. This is its own event, and we want to make it a fair playing field for all competitors.
How should I record my event?
Do your best to get an unobstructed judge’s view. Angles matter! Position your camera on a stationary object positioned near where a judge would be stationed. If you don't know - ask someone at the gym! Also, make sure the full action can be captured. Make sure we can see your toes on those swinging aparatus. Judges cannot judge what thay can't see.
Do I have to compete in all events?
Nope. You can join and submit a single event if you want to.
Is there a deduction for soft landing?
No, because we like our joints when they like us. A mat over a loose foam pit is acceptable, as is a resi landing. No loose pits, though.
Is this event sanctioned?
It is not sanctioned, which means anyone can be part of the fun. We want to create more opportunities and are excited to be some people’s first meet ever.
How will this benefit competitors?
You will get international competition experience and the same frame-by-frame feedback MeetCritique is known for. Our judges give detailed critiques, positive encouragement, personal tips, tricks, and suggestions throughout your routine.
